Home Helpers provides a full-range of non-medical care services which enable our clients to live healthier, happier and more rewarding lives in the privacy, safety, and comfort of their own home.  Our services include bathing, dressing, wound care, monitoring vital signs, range of motion exercises and transfers or ambulation.  We can also provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, transportation / errand services and companionship.  Our client base consists mostly of seniors, needing long term, respite and recuperative care. We also provide services for new mom’s and families, anyone recovering from injury, surgery or illness and those that need assistance after reconstructive surgery.

Each client receives a full FREE assessment of care needs prior to beginning services.  We match the skills needed for care and client personality, to a caregiver who will provide the very best care and companionship possible.  We also perform a safety walk to ensure services can be safely and properly performed in the home.  At Home Helpers, every client relationship is managed by an experienced supervisor who will make ongoing assessments and recommendations as the clients' needs change over time.

Now as Owner/Operator of Home Helpers, I can provide an affordable and convenient choice to seniors which improves their quality of life. As a nurse, I have learned that it is often the lack of communication and knowledge about health and the healthcare system that leads to challenges with activities of daily living. Communicating and collaborating with everyone involved in the care giving process, we can help educate and advocate for all clients so that they can reach their full potential, promoting independence when possible and providing education and support where needed.

Home Helpers is committed to fitting your schedule and budget by offering non-medical care as needed, from just a few hours a week up to 24 hours a day. We're there when you need us, for as long as you need us.  Our clients are given a safe and affordable way to remain active and independent in the comfort of their home, often for longer than would otherwise be possible.  We provide services in retirement communities, nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and more.  We accept private pay, long term care insurance and ALTCS though Bridgeway. 

Direct Link

Home Helpers offers Direct Link Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) Monitoring – Help at the Touch of a Button.  Any time your loved one needs help, they simply push the button on the wireless necklace, wristband or belt clip and a trained professional will respond immediately.  Based on your pre-determined instructions, Direct Link can have a neighbor check in for a non–emergent situation or will dispatch emergency services when necessary.  Regardless of the situation, distant family can be notified of each occurrence of an alarm, allowing for peace of mind.  Using Home Helpers personal services with Direct Link monitoring often is the combination that allows someone the independence they desire, and the security of 24 hour monitoring.
